VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE SOUTH-WEST OF FRANCE
Two programs, so many opportunities!
Pistes-Solidaires is a French organisation that was created in 2002. Since that time, learning mobility projects have been at the heart of the activities of the organisation!
With 20 years of expertise in this field, Pistes-Solidaires supports local organisations to give them the chance to host volunteers.
That's why many vacancies in different fields are currently opened now!

With the European Solidarity Corps and the Service Civique (French volunteering program), Pistes-Solidaires also supports the volunteers during their whole experience in order to make the volunteers' experience a success and useful for their future!

THE TWO PROGRAMS MAKING THESE OPPORTUNITIES POSSIBLE
The European Solidarity Corps
​
This is the main volunteering program from the European Union. It gives youngsters between 18 and 30 the possibility to get involved in solidarity activities in their own country or abroad.
For projects taking place abroad, you will need a hosting organisation abroad where you will volunteer and a supporting organisation in your country, to make your mobility possible.
For your life abroad, everything will be organised by your hosting organisation and the costs will be covered by the program: international travel costs (in the limit set by the program), accommodation, food, pocket money, access to local transport, insurance, access to an online training tool to learn the language of your hosting country.
The Service Civique

This program is supported by the French government. It gives youngsters between 16 and 25 the possibility to get involved in solidarity activities in their own country or abroad (only 3% of the projets take place out of France).
As a volunteer, you will directly receive the money from the French Government and from your hosting organisation in order to cover your expenses. You will receive around 580€ per month. In terms of finances, the conditions to leave in France are really similar to the ones of the European Solidarity Corps.
Your hosting organisation will of course support you to find an accommodation in your new city with some partnerships such as residences for young people.
